My dear Mr Hiswah, it is early on a Saturday morning in Jamaica here, and we are just about to turn in.
But I had to tarry a while to thank you very much for saying such nice things about the family. In truth we do not deserve such praise as we are but simple people who row our boats along with the tide in our meandering of life's little journey.
In fact, we were doubting our sanity ourselves because, contrary to the wisdom being bandied about about a gas glut, we felt that there would be a shortage looming in 2014.
We even went so far as to state this in our posting in the MEL site on 9th March 2010, where we said:
" 5. And we believe that any so called gas glut, a term so freely bandied about now, will disappear by 2014, when the PNG trains get going and the re is a bigger world population with greater perceived needs. Analysts have thrown this red herring around, and we all know how the analysts and economists called the financial future in 2007 and 2008 and 2009..."
Perhaps some analyst has taken our words and written about it just for a laugh somewhere?
As for us not writing on the Eastern Star site, it is really very simple. The site is filled by so many extremely knowledgeable posters whose analytical work takes our breath away, and we have little more to add, and if there is nothing to add, then it is good to not add anything. So we learn what we can from what is posted on the ESG site and thank the good Lord that such esteemed wisdom is being imparted so freely.
But now I must retire for some sleep.
