Good news. $14M IPO, current share price $3, attempted share price high $18, say try to float at $5 = 3M shares in IPO + 2M already on CBDNF for 5M total at company valuation of $25M. That seems about right for a company in a hot industrial sector with bright growth prospects but little actual track record in the USA. Establishing a few publicized mid-range commercial projects in the 5-10MW range (already done in Italy and UK) and confidence will build possibly pushing price rapidly to $10+ and company capitalisation into the $50-$100M range.
On the negative side, push back to the leasing model of domestic solar installations is growing as people infer the real cost of borrowing implicit in these 'deals' and their restrictive exit conditions compared to a personal loans or addition to a mortage. The commercial sector is different as it is more used to leasing assets.
Great hopes for the sector http://au.finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=QCLN http://stocktwits.com/symbol/QCLN http://www.pv-magazine.com/news/details/beitrag/bright-prospects-for-us-solar-stocks_100014393/#axzz2x2bmrLmf
The clean energy sector and all of its multitude of subsectors covering technology, manufacturing, planning, financing, construction, yield co. etc is a volatile area and still throws tantrums that can destroy shareholders positions. Overall a sector which is predicted to grow rapidly and enormously in coming years. Mind you, how many of the nearly 1000 automobile manufacturers that started up in the early 20th century still exist?
All my own opinion and not based on any great knowledge and definitely not recommending anything to anyone.
