I'm holding my DIO and not selling, although I was lucky and scooped my shares below 30c. I expect that another couple of positive quarters and a $1100 AUD gold price will see them do just fine.

David, not wanting to pick on you mate, but I've read a few of your posts, including some pipedream that AVO would be taken over by RMS! C'mon man, lets be serious here.

Talk of DIO going back to 35c? I would suggest that you do not really know what you are talking about with those sort of comments.Unless you are factoring in another stockmarket crash, in which AVO and RMS would also plunge as well, to differing degrees.

Why do you think Northgate, RMS and AVO all want the frogs leg mine? Do you think they are trying to get it at a price more than it's worth? I believe their action has woke the market up to DIO's worth, hence no plunge back to 35c (all other factord being equal).

Also, if the remaining holders arent selling now at these prices, what makes you think they'll accept 35c on another takeover down the track?

The way I see it, the weaker hands have now sold to AVO or RMS. I'm not saying that it was a bad decision - different circumstances for different people/risk profiles etc. But now that that the stronger hands are remaining, maybe DIO could even start trading at a premium on the back of a couple of good solid quarters and a steady gold price/ share market.

    P.S I also own RMS.

    Cheers,
    Tr1p
