Maybe that's the problem. He's been here for decades, led a failed push into Chile that sapped the company of time and money, and now has become complacent and bored.
What will the new blood assist him with? Crafting an ASX announcement to say 'Drilling Has Commenced'? How many HLX staffers does it take to change a lightbulb?
