Re precious metals standalone value.
Indeed, the in-situ precious metals endowment at Rupice is very robust. However, evaluating Rupice based on in ground value is very wrong headed.
Some newbies on here have (hilariously) suggested 50-60% Zn+Pb recovery and 90% Au recovery. This is totally backwards and it is quite clear that they have no clue when it comes to extracting gold from polymetallic sulphide deposits. In fact, Zn, Pb, Ag and Cu all float fairly easily whereas gold is very difficult and costly to recover.
I think this just goes to show how misunderstood Rupice is by mining speculators - they have a tendency to view Rupice through the 'gold' lens - evaluating Rupice relative to gold deposits because gold is familiar and comfortable. They will flip out if you assume 50% gold recovery (which is standard for these types of deposits) but are daft enough to suggest only 50-60% recovery of the primary pay metals Zn+Pb.
Be careful who you listen to on these forums, there are lots of charlatans out there.
