with about $23m 'cash in the bank' and the annual report due for release sometime, an appropriate 'hire' company acquisition is not a question of if but when!

there are several likely candidates not least of which are:
    ah plant hire
    western access hire
    moorland hire
    kennards hire

worse case senario is to do nothing and earn a lazy 4.5-5.5% at call (approx $1m) but given the forecast building conditions outlaid by the likes of BIS Shrapnel, RBA and the HIA a hire company purchase makes more
    sense

to save even more money NHR might want to consider a 100% buy back of all the NHRG'S costing around $3.5m initially but reduced to around $3m (to 4/2007)when u consider the savings on 10% interest 'not' paid out every 6 months

so that would leave nhr with about $20m and still significant to leverage off and make a good small to
    medium size hire company purchase
