If you ever want to see photos of our side of the globe almost realtime, the geostationary Japanese weather satellite photos are available to the public and uploaded every 10 mins.
It also has the full back catalog of photos since it’s been online for the last 4 years or whatever, you can zoom in far enough to see volcanoes going off in Indonesia ect if they create enough smoke.
Turn off shore line plotting if you want pretty pictures.
