You said,
"Grant wanted nothing to do with JHL. He didnt need the money and wasnt putting up with the headache."
Q: So If he didn't need the money or JHL why did he do it? Didn't he retire? If so why bother with JHL?
You said,
"If not for him, company would have died."
Q:I admire your endearing comments towards the CEO, however, are you saying no one else on this planet could have renegotiated terms and kept the business alive?
You said,
" JHL is a micro manager - almost 20 HIL board meetings in 2016."
Q: Usual is 12-16? Given the position of the company as you describe it (precarious at best) you don't believe the extra meetings were warranted in 2016?? It is noted past years didn't have as many meetings.
You said,
"JHL is not truthful - she misrepresented what the board wanted to the Exec team on multiple occasions. There are times when she would say the board wanted something and it was her individual opinion."
Q: If this was known by the board, why didn't the board take action?
You said,
"When weak results come out soon and they have to raise more capital further diluting SH, dont blame anyone else. "
Q: Blaming JHL is one thing. What about the board? You have alluded that the board new she was being untruthful? Why didn't they do something?
Q: Let me also ask, Each individual business within the HILLS group is run autonomously, is it not?
What about the responsibility of each HEAD of each division to provide results?
Are the heads of each division capable to run the division? Do they have the knowledge? (as its reputed most experienced staff have left)?
Do they have supports in place? If their results are weak, you either cut costs (which they appear to have done in many ways) or grow the revenue streams, do they have the people capable at any level of increasing revenue?
Q: in reference to the above, F16 v F15
The building technologies GROUP revenues fell from $348m to $294, however EBITDA took a huge hit falling from $27m to $12m.
Not only does this highlight the falling revenues, but the relevance of squeezed margins to try maintain falling revenues.
As there are individual business units within this group, do Hills have staff at the helm that understand the business and structures to enable revenue growth?
You said,
"Best thing that could happen is sell off the pieces of the company and get some money for SH and shut down the business."
Q:You don't believe there is a chance of possible life?
Cheers
