I finished up at a gold mine (in Tanzania) recently. The underground cutoff grade was 2.5 g/t and open pit 1.0 g/t. Mill throughput was 500,000t per year and recovery 92 percent. The above cutoff grades equate to about 3.0 and 1.2 percent Zinc for underground and open pit respectively.
