And this is why the Environmental Services/Carbon Forestry side of the company is an integral part of the business model...it is has been a proven money spinner over the years, and probably will be again once there is regulatory certainty in this area.
If they completely moved out of this area, support for the Aquaculture project would fall solely on the shoulders of the shareholders, which is a big ask. Indeed, as you say, even as it is they will need some extra help from some parties with deep pockets.
One option is to look to Asia, but there is another, admittedly more remote, possibility.
I wouldn't say it would be entirely out of the question that they may be able to get some backing from the government, in the same way as the New Zealand government helped Fonterra morph into a major food player.
Given this country needs to develop new industries to help fill the void left by the end of the mining boom, there would be some logic in this... though I admit it would be a long shot.

After reading the update defiantly want the environment side of things to keep going. I know see the challenges ahead for coz and the agriculture business if they get funding to expand the business coz will be massive, until then it's high risk but I'm still happy i invested.
