Mogga all PASS landfills in metro areas have water bodies for disposal - hence no treatment required, and no levy is triggered.
PASS is not governed to a depth but by chemical analysis (pH levels), all large soil volumes must go through a strict sampling frequency (IWRG702) and identify the chemical properties- analytical data against table 2 in IWRG 621.
The early Metrol Tunnel works had calculated over 30,000 tonnes of PASS. And the current Arden Street station has approx 50,000 tonnes of PASS.
