Mogga, I indicated there is substantial space available in the four major PASS landfill sites (Lantrak, Delta, MBC & Hi-Quality) over 4million cubic metres. This will accomodate the Metro Tunnel and West Gate Tunnel projects.
Lantrak have been awarded the start of the major works for the Metro Tunnel - and are currently accepting this material to their Dingley site. Approximately $22/tonne includes transport.
MBC have accepted the Category C contaminated soil with PASS.
The EPA is currently assessing an EMP for the Cleanaway Ravenhall Landfill Site again this site has substantial airspace available.
Veolia has recently purchased a landfill near Echuca (Patho) it was concluded the distance from the CBD the disposal rate for PASS would need to be $3-5/tonne.
NAG can make money from PASS but the disposal rate would need to be similar to Veolia.
