Most of you would know that I am a long time holder and supporter of HGO.  
Whilst I really like the PHES potential project, I am a little more cautious about it actually bearing any fruit in the near term .   There is a canyon of gap between an expression of interest and an actual sale or binding agreement of any sort.  
I certainly hope that the quality of what can be offered at Kanmantoo can get someone "over the line". I dont imagine these kind of deals are being done much (at all ?) in  Australia currently.- Plenty of looking and conjecture, yes.
By the way,  Steve is speaking at a Pumped Hydro conference in Sydney next February. (I wonder if he would still be if we had someone knocking down the door to ink a contract).    /www.informa.com.au/event/conference/pumped-hydro-energy-storage-conference/
