I guess as more battery farms and PHES come on line with an appetite for off peak power all that will change and market forces will level everything out. I guess though It will always be worth a lot less during the day than it is at night and PHES will be able to make a reasonable return on investment. .A good market will do that...

I saw an article in the Advertiser on 29-30 th September. The general manager, Lachlan Wallace talked about the PHES. I was interested when he said that the HGO facility would store over 14 times the energy of the much talked about Tesla batteries in the state's north for only double the price.
