hgl buying into gul

Have been researching since ann re HGL 9mill+ share purchase in GUL - HGL don't normally invest in shares in other companies. IMO they are up to something on the quiet - very savvy management.

GUL is major s/holder of AGM plus BTV (incl 1%
royalty). GUL's owned by David Dietz, who was also is director of AGM. AGM is being taken over by Zinifex. When that happens, GUL will have a net $13million in the bank. I don't think that is HGL's interest. GUL has a 2328 sqk copper tenement between Parkes & Narromine - they have started to explore. GUL also indicated they will have 3 - 5 active projects within the next few months

David Dietz increased his holdings in GUL prior to ann of HGL's purchase. My thinking is that they are looking at some sort of JV. There was the rumour of a zinc strategy, which hasn't come to light.
