SS#1 reached a TD of 3770m (which is 10m short of the prognosed 3780m).
Anyway the Protocol is to:
- run wireline logs,
- identify the gross & net pay, porosity, permeability etc.
- decide the next plan of action
Should they opt to proceed with a lateral then,
- they'll set a Plug,
- choose a kick-off depth for the lateral section (Well name will change to incorporate the Deviation well)
- then start sliding ahead
Hope they provide more clarity post-Logging.
SS#1 is 5 kms north from Beanbush#1 where a DST in the Patchawarra flowed 1.5 MMcfd gas. So from a well control point of view they have two wells near SS#1, ie BB#1 & Moondie-1. Permeability is the key at SS#1 within the Toolachee or Patchawarra Formations.
Hope this helps.
