My in law has been a skipper on tourist boats up there for eons, he says there’s a lot of damaged coral from the tourists walking around on it with flippers on. He reckons just take a look at the Damaged flippers they give out . I don’t doubt that’s an issue but only in the shallower areas. I wonder how the fights going with crown of thorns, it must be at least 30 years since they were discovered to be a threat.
