A screaming buy.... heh heh when the falling knife cuts off your hand.

On my last trip to the USA I visited 9 casinos and walked around a lot and found Aristocrat machines in 3 of them. Only a few though.

You gotta wonder though, how many of these machines the marketplace can absorb.

Since I was first there, the number of states with gambling has gone from 2 to about 30. The casino-going demographic there is even more downmarket than Australia, heaps of fat old people spending their social security pensions.

Compared to the likes of Macquarie Bank raking in ever increasing rivers of cash from management fees on the infrastructure funds, or even mining companies, the revenues of Aristocrat are critically dependent on scoring big sales wins, so the stock price is perpetually subject to downside bad news.

Aristocrat ( and other slot machine makers ) always saying how complicated their machines and their regulatory issues are, but I don't believe that stops Chinese and Koreans learning to make them better and cheaper and more attractive to the customers.

I have just bought some but as soon as I make 10% I am out.
