The Irish rugby union did a league wide deal with StatsSports. Statsports are an Irish co so a patriotic choice is to be expected. The Irish rugby union then would have forced or made it highly attractive for Leinster and Munster to move to Statsports. Cat won the English super league from Stats sports. Changes happen. I wouldn't read into it too much. These things happen. In any event, the market is so wide that it's not about head to head competition. It's about growing the market.
