Laser - I agree with your comments re GAM - as fate would have it I know one of the negotiators. I dont see GAM themselves as causing too much trouble its elements of TNI who orchestrate events to fan the conflict. So long there is a state of emergency up there it suits their business interests. The lastest threats are actually from a Central Java based mob just to make it interesting.

Finally re HER - I dont disagree with comments. The problem is the perception of off shore financiers. I dont see any Aust companies as being directly effected, only by general negative sentiment- which I am the first to admit can range from nothing to the irrational.
