Uawkn, I'm very glad to have accepted my full entitlement too (and wishing I'd applied for a few extra).
Yes our three directors have just put in almost $400 000 between them - adding to their recent on-market purchases.
It's nice to see such a strong additional alignment of directors' interests with those of other shareholders. Though judging from their words and actions over the last couple of years, I sense our directors were already strongly committed to turning SRH around and recapturing some - if not all - of its former glory (and who knows, perhaps making it even better than before).
Given the current worldwide keynesian economics fad, SRH seems to me to have some sound counter-cyclical value. That is, if the global economy takes a hit, or even just continues to stagnate, a likely government response will be to maintain or possibly even boost infrastructure spending (not a particularly sensible response, but that's the prevailing economic 'wisdom' for you). To the extent that such spending is directed at roads, it should help SRH's bottom line.
