my impression is whatever they were negotiating fell thru, since it was back on 7 Feb 12 when they announced looking in SE Asia
finding a "world class" project is not so easy to do as it is 3 years since "post-GFC"
i can't recall any recent "world class" project acquisitions, apart from SYR
HFR picked up some potash in Spain, which I did not like & sold
PDZ picked up a large coal project in Poland, which reminded me to much of RES (low grade local thermal), so i sold
VRE picked up a pretty good looking coking coal project in Central Kyrgyzstan, i have been tempted to buy, but coal is on the nose
SYR cleaned up doing thorough due diligence & picking up the best graphite projects in Africa before everyone else
