Street, did you read the whole article? The first part of the article was much more upbeat and suggested that in fact a higher offer may be made at a reasonable level which was considered to be in the order of $2 and that Blackstone will have done well at the current offer.

The second part was more about holders CURRENT expectations but its frustrating to hear such comments because things are likely to improve in 12-24 months for Valad and most other Reits. Also, once again, no mention of underlying value just the circa 50% the current offer represents on the previous day share price.

I agree, hopefully Orbis and the other major holders step up along with everyone else and we achieve another offer closer to the $2.
