A bit of hedging to guarantee a new project does not go under in the first year or two is prudent.
However, and I guess McBank may have demanded it , ADU hedged a huge number of ounces - at US$1075.
Sure, ADU can make good money at these prices, but their SP upside is now severely constrained and if input costs go up their profit will be constrained as well.
