re: nope Today I had to decide where I was going to put a bit of cash, out of MAP and FGL I felt my returns will be better placed on FGL.
From a investment point of view I'm looking for two things, [1] a reasonlable yield [2] a chart that is currently in an uptrend.
This way I achieve two forms of capital growth.
FGL goes X div in early March which gives it a couple of months to rally towards that payment.
MAP goes X div in around 2 weeks, so I would expect the price to fall soon after the event.
I'm always suspicious of low PE's, it generally means that the market sees no forward growth in earnings.
I'm happy to watch this one for the time being, but wish you every sucess
