If we do get a string of deals, are we confident that we have the infrastructure to manage the higher volumes of stock? With the $28 million example, assuming we got a deal like that we would need to move about 2.8 million wine bottles - if we are talking cases that's probably about 450,000 cases plus. No mean feat!
If they have delivered 17,000 bottles in one order that is a good sign, hopefully they are prepared for dealing with high volumes like that each week if the deals really start to take off. I work for a big FMCG company so I know how tricky logistics can be.
If Dean has the deals and the infrastructure then the price should fly. If he gets the deals but needs to spend time building up his supply chain it may take a little longer. I reckon this is going places, but the time it takes may vary depending on what they need to spend on streamlining their supply chain.
