interesting head wind for property prices of apartments; this OPAL thing (cracked and evacuated building) put a big question mark on the value of all apartments
i read in a report that 85% of apartments show structural damage over time, and the median cost for fixing is 27% of the purchase price; i wonder if someone spending $500k on an apartment has budgeted $135k for remedial repairs? (given their is a big chance some work and cost will be involved)
this tells me the average price of an apartment really needs to be 27% below the fairy land 'she'll be right, mate' price
