the aluminum air battery idea has been around for 6 decades and they are still working on it :/

doesn't give me a huge amount of hope... I've seen these hyped things come and go.

The TiO2 gives me great hope (as its cheap, abundant and reliable) but still uses lithium (for that reason I said before)..

I don't have HUGE faith in the graphene sulphur batteries either as the stringent testing required to put lithium near sodium in long-term use devices would be massively involved..
