and the ironic thing is that the alternative of say an iced coffee is actually worse for you as it has more sugar and fat in it than a can of coke.
I think people are more after a change of something different to drink , yes there is certainly a demographic that are after a healthy option also
ultimately ccl got to smart and cocky, they have been selling the exact same product for over 50 years now and making an absolute killing, well now its time to earn your money instead of wasting it on top earning executives that are not required and on systems that don't work.
clearly its time for ccl to reinvent the wheel, change their attitude and meet the demands of the consumer.
I keep remembering people quoting the words of warren buffet saying things like can you ever see a world without coke, and what a great robust stock to invest in, and people will always drink coke. well times are certainly changing and in 10-15 years and the evolution of better health could see fizzy sugary drinks gone for good. People seem to forget we are in the midst of a diabetes epidemic.
time to get working ccl, time to get working, because you've falling asleep at the wheel as a result of an untouchable attitude. No one is untouchable....
