just out of interest is there any rational behind why a head and shoulders should precede a big drop in price?

it looks a bit like three strikes and your out

investors try once and fail

then there is a really big bout of buying followed by one of selling which indicates all is not well

followed by another small bought of buyers probably small investors using old knowledge and basing their buying decision on reputation

and then what happens - price gets smashed

massive selling?
