Just an update if anyone still cares. Contacted ASIC a few months ago and it appears the only course of action is taking these scumbags to court, which would not be worth it for me personally. So there we have it. ASIC and ASX won't do jack.
As Master Burrows stated, these guys have so few shares on issue, it's almost like a new company. They could literally start fresh and re-open tomorrow with a new project and the market would probably forgive. I just really want to know what the hell are they doing. Is the court case tying them up or are the actually trying to find an acquisition (which is quite hard to do to be honest) to start fresh?
