Alan,
Not sure what has been wrong with Didak. He did find some form against the Demons with 24 possessions but who didn't! Then off injured against the Swans. He'll be right come September/October.
Reds, you're exactly the type of Hawks supporter I was referring to.
Goldsack is battling to find form after losing 17kg in the off season due to illness. Johnson was playing his first game back from a hamstring injury. Xavier Ellis has been so poor he hasn't been able to get a game so if he is a 'regular' then you have just proven my point re bottom 6 players... And Renouf stole a Premiership Medallion in 2008 and has been VERY poor ever since.
Sewell is a very good player as is Burgoyne and Mitchell. If you actually read my post you'll see that I said you also had a "few other very handy players as well". But you chose to only see what you wanted.
I notice that you said in an earlier post that the Pies are "injury free" which I have pointed out as being incorrect. You chose to ignore that but as soon as I don't put Mitchell, Burgoyne and Sewell into the Elite category with Franklin, Hodge and Rioli then I'm the World's worst.
Do you honestly think Ellis, Stratton, Renouf, Gilham or Shoemakers would get a game at Collingwood? If so, who would they replace when our other 6 who missed come back in?
Seems to me you're looking at thing through rose coloured glasses...
Don't worry, I still rate the Hawks when they are on. But the problem is do you think Collingwood's pressure against that chip kicking game style will allow you to get 'on'?
