Deboss, I believe what's happening here is NF is trying to buy a larger piece of the pie.

After speaking with him he wants at least a 70% ownership of AVZ if not higher. The Chinese have been playing low ball which we all know and yes he does not need to announce each offer to the public. There have been many offers.
The Chinese know this is huge but are not coming to the table, in fact, they are been arrogant in many ways saying it's their own company and telling other Chinese investors that it's theirs not that they just own a small percentage. I have heard this from multiple sources now.

Moving forward the plan would be to buy ownership back at a cheap price now hence why NF wants to increase their stake and then when the DFS is complete sell the same stake or a couple of % higher at a much higher place for an OT / funding agreement.
