Bunnings would need to substantially improve their logistic capability to compete with Reece. I am acquainted with a fellow who worked his way up from delivery driver to store manager with Reece & their ability to get almost anything a plumber could need to site within a very tight timeframe is so far in front of any competition it defies belief.
Reece is also meaningfully cheaper than Bunnings for plumbing supplies (based mostly on my own comparisons when I do small jobs).
But with that said, Bunnings are a gorilla and if they decided to compete hard, they could certainly make things more difficult for Reece.
Much likelier is that each of these two excellent businesses focus on their respective strengths and avoid going head to head - Eternalgrowth
