I disagree, Gassin. Using AWD as an example, they announced a RTO with a telco (a business that I think is junk - but that's not the point) and they had volume of 150m shares on that day. The next few days the volume contracted and they had a few red days. But... over the course of the next few weeks/months, the SP ultimately rose by over 400%.
My point is, the traders are guaranteed to be watching this now. They''ll all take a position and drive this thing higher in a well orchestrated play when they think the time is right. Ity's been the case on these speccy RTOs.
So your argument of contracting volume and buyers drying up is probably valid most of the time but in the instances of RTOs, traders start rubbing their hands together so when they release the brakes, your theory becomes irrelevant.
Just wait til the hearts show up on these threads....
