that's an interesting scenario, this merger/takeover is stated as being off market on all the documentation, your shares went as soon as you committed to sell them but as you say, before they went to market.

Was it an "at market" price or did you specify a price above the current trading price at the time ?

Whoever took them off your hands will be turning them into AGO shares, even if the buyer wasn't AGO the company.
