From my limited understanding of manganese and what I've read on the ARM website just now, their prospects are shale hosted. That means thinner laminar zones of manganese enrichment which can be spread over large areas but are difficult to mine cleanly or economically. That's a generalisation and not necessarily the case with ARM but they do state that Capricorn is in shales. SRR on the other hand have massive Woodie Woodie-style geology, which if the drilling stacks up, should give them a more viable project. And that gives me a big woody woody too.
