Any stock at 3.9 cents is a spec stock, an the market does not care much about fundamentals.
It was not hype that attracted me to look at it, but simply a big increase in volume while making new highs.
I scan for these all the time, and dismiss about 90% because the move is usually due to some one-off event that will soon dissipate.
New highs on volume in spec stocks will always get me going, and it usually works. The fundamentals do look interesting, but believe me, not many are being bought because of that. 99% are being bought because the buyers expect to see higher price. And will sell at the first sign of weakness.
Its a high risk, high reward game, with the emphasis on game.
