It's not definitive technical analysis rather pattern trading. A cup and handle pattern can be quite a strong positive pattern. The current HAR chart is within the limits of such a pattern. ie duration about a year, depth of retrace between 10 and 25%, retouching the high before the retrace etc.
Not everyones cup of tea (pun intended) but seems to work for me.
