Paul's only comment regarding timing was that it could happen at any time.
IMO, I'm afraid "near term" falls into the same category as "imminent" as far as ASX announcements go, but I'm a pretty jaded, cynical investor these days....
I think the important thing is that we all know that it is everyone's best interests to get the deal done ASAP.
