Are your holdings CHESS sponsored? If so it should be extremely easy to transfer your shares over to any other CHESS sponsored broker. Just search your intended broker + transfer chess, and that should pull up the form. Selfwealth is currently the cheapest CHESS broker, but any one should do.
Keep in mind this will be more complicated if your holdings are not CHESS sponsored, are purchased via a margin facility through your broker, or are not direct holdings (such as contracts for differences, or shares where you are not the registered holder but the equitable holder).
