I agree - a fair whack has been taken off the top of most gold stocks which are not making profit as we speak.
As an aside - one I hold is Cortona (exploration only) CRC for a gold stock which has not been hit hard. That means that the current drilling must be keeping people coming back. has recovered 95% of its value from a fortnight ago, probably due to ongoing drilling in NSW. Worth a look if you are in the sector.
MON - something is rotten there. December Qtr light at the end of the tunnel has become March Qtr and now seems to be 'middle of the year' for the benefit of the doubt.
If it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck......
