it a good laugh but isn't going to happen in a million year, Bunning is hardware and pet market isn't big enough for someone like Wesfarmers with an already established player like petbarn
second it a different beast running perishable goods and vet clinic compared hammer and nail, it different management and inventory and logistic system altogether, there is no synergy in it, they get better leverage expanding into adjacent line like more hardware, home improvement etc...
yes, Amazon may stock pet stuff but again it a small market for them to go after, so I don't think it is a priority to them if ever they like the bigger market of electronic hi-fi, fashion and pharmacy etc...
