I buy pet stuff from eBay, Amazon, Kmart, Petbarns depending on what I need.
for large bulky food there is nowhere else but local petbarn
I never bought anything from JB hi fi for the last 3 years.

you don't need everyone to shop at petbarn but as long as there is traffic
in and out of the stores making the sales to generate the profit then it is fine.

and from my observation, there are plenty of traffic in the store, especially the superstore format
my local stores come the afternoon plenty of people dropped by after work to get food and stuff
for their pets

30% of their earning comes from Vet services and not all vet owners go to their vet services either
and they make decent money
