In 1995 BHP found 6mmbbls when they owned it, it simply wasn't large enough for such a big fish when oil was only $17 a barrel. For IPB however, this represents, even at today's low oil price, $450mil. Now Cal Energy own 60% rights, so 40% of recoverable oil waiting to be sucked out for IPB is $180 mil. For a company with only 120 mil shares on issue, that's big money. My advice to the nervous nellies, take a deep breath and relax.
