Forest Product Commission posts $13 million loss

The state government's forest product commission has posted a $13 million loss in it's annual report this year. General manager of FPC, David Hartley says the loss is due to drought affecting the value of the state's plantation forests.

Environment groups have accused the state government's forest product commission of releasing misleading figures in its annual report.
Spokesperson for the WA Forest Alliance, Jess Beckerling, says the $13 million dollar loss recorded by the commission this year in its annual report is evidence that the forest industry in WA is unsustainable
