One of my old cricket team mates was the local manager of Argyle Diamond Mine. I remembering him joke over some post game beers that " Mining Engineers are just Hole Diggers. That's all they do. Is dig holes in the ground." That's a bit like saying a surgeon just cuts tissue out of people - there's a lot more to it - obviously.

I liked that Charles Barclay seemed up beat, even though torrential rain is playing havoc with his hole digging. There'll be plenty of challenges for these guys - however nothing they probably haven't dealt with before in their careers. Especially when it comes to digging holes in the ground.
