Thanks for the info but I remain sceptical that our bureaucrats are capable of getting all the tax that is due
Our tax system is a bag of worms and needs to be rewritten to be relevant
I have no objection to company tax being reduced as we are stuck with this world economy and are compelled to do what others do, as long as they pay their dues.
I do believe that the mantra of "we must have investment money" is basically false as we only need what WE need to advance the country and its people not what multinationals want in order to make bigger profits
AS to the ATO I had in the past two "discussions"with them and won so I can imagine how the conversation with a big company would go
