I just checked the list. As I thought it was the very misleading and now much discredited ABC article/ program.
I am saying that they are paying the correct company tax according to our regulations. If our regulations are so poor that we fail to collect tax from many companies , then whose fault is that ? Having said that the Australian Govt has now amended tax laws to catch any evasion or just simple avoidance.
You say that there are many ways for a big company to eliminate tax from their Australian activities . This is no longer the case.
If it is, you need to identify those loopholes , but I think you will find that they have been closed
Increasing taxes here or not reducing them to be more competitive , will seriously hurt our economy.
