The last time I looked , the likes of Telstra, Westpac, ANZ, CBA, NaB, Woolies, Wesfarmers , BHP, Woodside , and hundreds of others are all in the top 700 companies, and more importantly , they all pay a lot of tax. Those that don’t pay tax are rightly deducting development costs as we all do. The number you quote probably came from the ABC who have been corrected and their economics reporter has been rightly ridiculed.
